DOI: 10.1177/14690446050060010501 Delivering an infection control link nurse programme: an exploration of the experiences of the link nursesSouthampton & South-west Hampshire This is the third in a series of articles describing a research study that examined the efficacy of an infection control link nurse programme, which had an educational programme based upon adult learning theory, delivered using an action research approach. This article describes the results of a qualitative study that explored the experiences of the link nurses who participated in the programme. Implications for practice are discussed.
